ClipCut Studio ("we", "us") operates the website clipcutstudio.co and its free creator tools. This page explains what information we collect, what we don't, and how it is used.

Your videos never leave your device

Our flagship tool, Shortify, processes videos entirely in your browser. Videos you select are never uploaded to our servers — all cutting, transcription and captioning happens locally on your own device.

What we collect

• Account information. When you sign in with Google to use Shortify, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google (via Firebase Authentication). We use this only to operate your account.
• Usage analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand traffic — pages visited, approximate location (country/city), device type, and how you found us. This data is aggregated and does not personally identify you.

What we don't collect

• We never receive or store your video files.
• We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing.
• We do not collect payment information (our tools are currently free).

Cookies and advertising

We use cookies for sign-in sessions and analytics. We may display advertising (such as Google AdSense) to keep our tools free. Ad providers may use cookies to show ads relevant to you; you can control ad personalisation in your Google Ad Settings.

Third-party services we rely on

• Google Firebase — sign-in with Google (their privacy policy)
• Google Analytics — traffic measurement
• Netlify — website hosting

Data deletion

Want your account data removed? Email us at umairkhan1564@gmail.com and we will delete your sign-in record.

Children

Our services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

We may update this policy as the service grows; the date above always reflects the latest version.
